At almost 00 new, this Apple MacBook Pro 17" Laptop is a great value, and is in excellent condition as well. I have had no problems with it, it has worked wonderfully. It’s just time for me to upgrade.
I upgraded the stock 2 GB RAM to 4 GB, and the stock 4200 RPM, 250 GB hard drive to a 5400 RPM, 500 GB model so applications would run more smoothly. The included OS X restore disc comes with 10.4 Tiger on it, but it also comes with the newer 10.5 Leopard, which is currently installed. You get both, and can use either one.
In addition, these items are included:
• DVI to S-Video / Composite adapter (not pictured)
• DVI to VGA adapter (not pictured)
I’ve been the sole owner and user of this laptop, I have taken extremely good care of it, and it shows, as the only blemishes are that some of the paint is worn from the a, s, and left cmd keys. The screen is in perfect shape and has no dead pixels that I know of.
These are the specs:
• 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
• 4GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM – 2x2GB
• 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 RPM
• MacBook Pro 17-in Hi-Res GL WS 1920×1200 pixels
• NVidia GeForce 8600M GT
• SuperDrive 8X (DVD+-RW/CD-RW)
• ExpressCard/34 slot, FireWire 800 port, FireWire 400 port, three USB 2.0 ports
• DVI output port
